Cake Show

The Cupcake Challenge is part of the 2013  National Capital Area Cake Show  which will be held on April 6 & 7th.  The 5th annual NCACS show will be held at Fairfax High School (3501 Rebel Run, Fairfax, VA).

What is a cake show?

A cake show provides a place to celebrate sugar art through wedding and divisional cake competition, live television-style challenges by artists from across the country, children’s activities, and opportunity for attendees to attend demos and cake decorating classes by nationally-recognized instructors.

Come to the show and see lots of amazing cakes– all skill levels are welcome from beginning decorators to national artists. And it is easy to share your skills with the world and enter a cake yourself! Find out more on the main NCACS site.

Here is a peek into some of the events so you can get a taste of what being at the show is like.
